Health

For minor health complaints during your holiday in Mauritania, a visit to a Doctor or pharmacy is likely sufficient. If you suffer from any chronical diseases, we advise you to bring your own prescriptions and medicines.
For Malaria, repellents and mosquito netting are the best forms of protection. For any camping trip, we shall provide you with the necessary mosquito net. We also encourage you to protect yourself from sun exposure.
In addition to wearing sunglasses and using proper sunscreen, a hat or a headscarf can be very helpful. In Mauritania, we cover ourselves with a Hawli (Mauritanian headscarf).
